Life as a star is not always easy and sometimes your favorite celebs can have a breakdown also. Here is a list of the top celebrity breakdowns

Britney Spears - Her recent breakdown in her car consisted of constant crying and the eventual shaving of her entire head and Mary Poppins umbrella rampage on K-Fed's white SUV.

Mariah Carey - While promoting her film "Glitter" on TRL, Carey began handing out Popsicles and doing a strange striptease. She was quoted as saying "I just want one day off when I can go swimming and eat ice cream and look at rainbows,"

Margot Kidder - Made famous for her roll as Louis Lane in Superman, suffered a manic depressive episode in 1996 which resulted in her living on the streets and sharing a cardboard box with other homeless people.

Martin Lawrence - Police found Lawrence in a pot-induced stupor screaming at passing cars with a loaded gun in his pocket in 1996.

Anne Heche - In 2000 after she declared the official breakup of her and Ellen Degeneres, she also announced that she was god and she would take everyone to heaven in a space ship.

Whitney Houston - Poor Whitney, where to begin, how about 1997. Whitney performed live on HBO covered and sweat and did an encore at the police station due to a pot bust. Whitney also got fired from an Oscar-telecast after wondering around confused and forgetting the lyrics during rehersal. Thats just to name a few, but of course we can't forget her relationship with Mr. Bobby Brown, there were enough drugs and schedules to make a whole other list.

Christian Slater - Slater was on a rampage one day in August 1997. He was picked up at JFK Airport with a gun in his bag, was bingeing on tequila, vodka and cocaine at a friend's party when he punched a female acquaintance in the face, chomped a man in the chest who came to her defense, kicked a janitor in the stomach, and tried to grab a cop's gun.

Charlie Sheen - In 1998, after one of his infamous all weekend parties, Sheen was rushed to the hospital to treat his overdose.

Robert Downey Jr. - When Downey was pulled over for a speeding ticket in 1996 the police were really surprised to find crack, heroine and an unloaded gun in his car.

Michael Jackson - The King of Pop has had many mishaps and here are just a few. His disfiguring plastic surgery; the marriages to Lisa Marie Presley and Debbie Rowe; the masked children; the money problems; the kooky disguises; the baby dangling; the disastrous documentary with Martin Bashir, during which he admitted he slept in bed with "many children"; and the molestation charges.
